U of T Festival of Dance
Running for two evenings, Hart House Theatre proudly hosts Canada’s largest university dance festival: the U of T Festival of Dance. An annual showcase uniting all three U of T campuses and highlighting dance styles from all around the world, the festival speaks to the health and diversity of dance on campus. Past events have included over 60 different dance pieces, well over 200 performers and an impressive variety of dance forms including: Jazz, Ballet, Ballroom, Modern, Contact Improv, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Egyptian Belly Dancing, Chinese, Persian, Irish, Latin, Middle Eastern and “Bollywood” dancing.

The festival is open to any student and/or group that is part of the U of T community. If you dance or your group has incorporated a dance component to its roster, you are more than welcome to submit pieces to the festival. It's a great way to showcase your hard work and passion, as well as represent the dance community at the university.
The goal for this year's Festival is to produce the most eclectic, professional, and entertaining FoD in its history. There are so many performers and groups in the U of T Dance Community - because of that, we are looking for a representation of everything and everyone at FoD!
