Below, I’ve included a brief overview of the role of each member of the executive. Artistic Director:
 Conceives of, and oversees the implementation of the entire artistic vision of the company for the season. Will work with the AD of Hart House Theatre for mentorship and advice. Working with the Technical Director and the Company Manager, the AD is in charge of hiring all members of the artistic team for each
show, as well as leading the script selection process. The AD should attend weekly meetings, would be acclaimed to the Hart House Theatre Standing Committee as a member of the Hart House Players sub-committee and is responsible for reporting to the Hart house Theatre Standing Committee on all sub-committee artistic dealings at bi-monthly meetings. Will also work with the producer and company manager to finalize all marketing and publicity decisions and contribute to the social media for the group (most notably through a blog). In general, the AD will not have a strong presence in the process of each show once the script and artistic team have been selected, but
will be available to them for artistic consultation. 
The Assistant Artistic Director shares the AD’s responsibilities and helps them with completing specific tasks, developing the artistic vision of the season and choosing the scripts and artistic team for each show.
 
Producer:
Oversees all major financial arrangements for the company such as the annual budget, grant applications and fundraisers. The producer will work closely with the general manager for mentorship and advice. Responsible for major areas of communication between members of the company as well as to external parties that may be interested in
getting involved with the company or have some relation to the company (e.g. sponsors or agencies approving grants). The producer should attend weekly meetings, would be acclaimed to the Hart House Theatre Standing Committee as a member of the Hart House Players sub-committee and is responsible for reporting to the Hart house Theatre Standing Committee on all sub-committee artistic dealings at bi-monthly meetings. Supervises (and recruits) all administrative staff.
 
Technical Director:
  Working closely with the technical director of Hart House Theatre, the technical director is responsible for ensuring that all technical staff for all shows understands how to work the equipment of the theatre and that they treat it with care. Should be readily available during tech week and the show’s run for technical consultation, supervision and to take over any roles that need to be filled. Works with the artistic director, producer and company manager to
appoint technical staff.
The Assistant Technical Director works closely with the TD, taking on the same set of responsibilities. The ATD is also present during the major technical dates of each show, ensuring all technical equipment is handled with safety and proficiency.
 
Company Manager:
Works with both the production team and the company executive to schedule rehearsals and production meetings and to ensure that all production deadlines are met within budget and at the satisfaction of the artistic team. Will also work closely with the general manager of Hart House Theatre, assisting with budget and communication tasks as well as overall administrative tasks to do with the company.
 
PR Manager:
In charge of the bulk of marketing, advertising and social media; includes working with the general manager and artistic director of Hart House to conceive of all marketing materials, writing all press releases, gathers content for the website and serves as the main contributor to Twitter and Facebook.
