Looking for a different kind of gym experience?
Open 365 days a year and located downtown on the University of Toronto campus, the Hart House Fitness Centre features an art deco pool, squash courts, multi-level fitness facilities, suspended indoor track and a variety of spaces for everything from basketball to archery. Eligible UofT students are automatic members, but anyone can join. Learn more about membership options and special discounts.

Pool Closure: July 26 to Aug. 9, 2014
Please be advised that the Hart House pool will be closed during this time for maintenance and improvements.
Hart House Fitness members may access the Athletic Centre pool (only) during this period. Present your white Hart House membership card for access. Please remember to take your own lock and towel to the AC. Locks are not available to rent or loan.
Summer student fitness members who wish to use the AC pool must obtain a membership card from the Information Hub for access.

Hart House Fitness Centre houses a beautiful, 25-yard pool with an Art Deco skylight. Open swim hours are available throughout the day. Join us for a Drop-in Aquafit class or sign up for a registered class to improve your stroke or take the first step in learning how to swim with our supportive and informative instructors.
Monday to Friday 7:00 am–9:00 am, 11:00 am–2:00 pm, 4:00 pm–10:30 pm
Saturday & Sunday 10:30 am–8:00 pm
Statutory Holidays 11:00 am–4:00 pm
(Hart House Pool does not have a shallow end. Depth is 6′ to 7′ throughout.)
