Fine Art Photography - 3961

Description: This class explores what makes fine art photography different from commercial photography, travel photography, photojournalism and so on. The goal is to help students develop and tune their fine art photography styles. The class will quickly move from reviewing examples and views to creating and discussing images. We will start by considering the special case of colour photography. How is colour photography different from black & white photography. How does an awareness of colour help photographers to see their subjects differently? We will explore these questions and follow the insights they provide into fine art photography. Students can use any type of camera in the class. Instructor: Tony Gray NOTE: Deadline to withdraw from this class is 5:00 pm on July 1 . A $15 withdrawal fee applies.
