Description: Playing is neither childish nor frivolous, but a valuable skill to help relieve stress and unlock creative impulses. New ideas are born out of imagination and imagination is exercised through play. In this 6-week intensive, the mind behind Toronto's hit zombie clown Mullet will guide you through games and exercises leading you towards discovering your own hidden clown. The clown makes fun and parodies, not to single out differences between us, but instead to reveal how ridiculously alike we all are. This course is appropriate for people with limited performing experience as well as emerging artists. The focus will be on learning to become aware of and then react to both your outer surroundings and inner life. There is no pressure to be funny and no balloon animals allowed.
