Artist Talk and Open Meeting
Why Darkroom Photography Still Matters with Artists Aubie Golombek and Micah Donovan
Join the Hart House Camera Club for their first meeting of the year. Hart House has been a home for darkroom analogue photography for nearly a century and in the era of digital photography Hart House remains committed to continuing this important but increasingly rare art form. Micah Donovan and Aubie Golombek will lead a short discussion of the many artistic aspects that are unique to analogue darkroom photography. Refreshments will be available and members of the Hart House Camera Club executive committee will be on hand to introduce other club events and how you can get involved.

Where: South Sitting Room
Cost: Free, limited seating
Photo Scavenger Hunt
Join us for a photo scavenger hunt this September. Teams will go hunt down the items on a list of things and places to photograph around campus. The team that returns with the best and most creative pictures gets their photos posted on our Facebook page and website and also will win a prize. Photos will be taken all over the St. George campus, so you will not only get to know U of T better, but also the members of the Hart House Camera Club. As you search, chat with your peers, enjoy some of the most relaxing spots on campus, and take a peek at some gorgeous buildings. Please bring yourself, your camera, and a card reader so we can review photos at the end of the search.
