The 2nd Annual Craft Beer Festival & Summer BBQ at Hart House:

The Ultimate Summer Event!

"It was incredible!" - Sarah Vingoe, Women.ca

"Give me a smaller venue, a higher ticket price and a group of people who actually bother to taste what they’re drinking any day of the week."
- Norman Wilner , NOW

On Thursday July 30th Mother Nature smiled upon the 2nd Annual Craft Beer Festival & Summer BBQ at Hart House and the sold out event exceeded all expectations under glorious sunny skies. Guests of this ultimate summer event were treated to an eclectic selection of suds from seventeen local craft breweries and a smorgasbord of delicious gourmet barbeque from Niagara Food Specialties. Later in the evening the courtyard was transformed into a stunning concert venue with the historic stone walls awash in amber light and CIUT broadcasting live.

DJ Jason Palma’s hit show Higher Ground had the crowd literally buzzing with anticipation before Everything All The Time took to the stage and wowed the audience with an unforgettable performance. Thunderheist’s DJ Grahm Zilla kept things rolling and then expertly
set the stage for electro reggae sensation Bonjay’s Alanna and Pho, whose high-energy dancehall jams put an exclamation point on this spectacular evening filled with high quality craft beer, savory barbeque and great live music.

THE BBQ

“Mario Pingue of Niagara Food Specialties specializes in all things porky. It’s his prosciutto, though, that has a melt in your mouth nutty sweetness. It’s something almost impossible to find outside of some Italian guy’s basement who makes his own.”
